About The Marketing Stack

The Marketing Stack is an independent editorial project that reviews the tools small businesses use to run email and SMS, market a store, and get found in search. We are not any of the tools listed, and we don’t provide marketing services ourselves — we point you to the tools and explain what each is for.

How we choose what to list

We start from a broad shortlist and try to open every tool’s live site by hand. That check regularly catches name collisions — a product that shares a name but turns out to be something entirely unrelated to email & marketing tools, which we leave off. Where a redirect or a bot-wall stops us from loading a site, we describe that tool from its own public positioning and say so on its card rather than guess. How we make money

The outbound links are affiliate links: if you sign up with a platform after clicking through, we earn a commission. Every tool here runs an affiliate programme — that is the pool we work from — but which ones we include, and how we group and rank them, is our editorial call, and the commission does not change it. Every affiliate link is marked nofollow sponsored.

Independence & accuracy

Descriptions are based on each platform’s own public positioning, checked live on 2026-07-17. Where a site blocked our live check, we say so on the card rather than guess. If something is out of date or wrong, tell us and we’ll fix it.
